  I visited um health center for a shoulder injury Thursday morning. The staff was very friendly but the doctor on duty was rude, unwelcoming and unhelpful. I will never come again. No one wants to be treated like that when you aren’t feeling well.

  Went to the ER for my wife having severe nausea and erratic blood pressure. They had us waiting for almost 45min while they kept messing up our insurance info even after my wife passed out and was temporarily unconscious on the floor. After being seen, the doctor was professional the two times we saw her, but the nurses would leave us for hours at a time unattended. I had to get them several times to do basic things like take wife to the bathroom or reconnect the IV. They sent the prescription to a pharmacy over an hour away, even after we gave them the location and address for the correct one (with the nurse writing it down and assuring us it was sent to the correct location). Finally, when the pharmacy attempted to contact them to get the prescription transferred, they didn’t answer the phone after being on hold for 30min. Just take the 15-20min to go somewhere else.

  dont go here unless ur bleeding out. youll get 15 bills from random people and none of it makes any sense. just wait it out until the morning and go to urgent care, deff not worth the bills plus they didnt know what they were doing they dont know how to put a sling on you and they will make you wait hours but say in the billing its "intense" for example: 2 hours in the ER (1 hour and 40 mins of being in waiting room and 20 mins of being in the actual room) was 2400 which covered a splint and a couple of ibuprofen bills and multiple random provider bills coming in months later, the docs didnt even know how to put the splint on me and claimed they were "new" but all lessons happen its life, just make sure you only go here if you are almost at ur death or else its not worth it

  Two white male doctors treated me like I was nothing..as a black woman I am not surprised. But I am disappointed in the nurses who were women of color but were scared to advocate for me..I left and found out it was a kidney stone blocking my urine flow and my pain was real..black women are hardly ever believed..and that is why we die more than our counterparts..in childbirth and from lack of basic care..shame on both doctors..and the nurses who remained quiet..
