I started my Pilates journey last month at Club Pilates, I was very nervous because I am recovering from a tendon injury and thought I might not fit it to the class, I will say, Katherine and Katrina made me feel so welcome, and we’re quick with alterations for my foot. I’m so excited to continue my Pilates journey and continue booking with both of these ladies classes!

I highly recommend this studio. I’ve been a member for more than a year, and my favorite instructor is Claudia. She is knowledgeable and creative, explains things clearly, and motivates you to challenge yourself and improve. I always leave class feeling stronger and more confident.

I have been doing private sessions with Claudia for a while now and she is one of the best Pilates instructors I’ve ever had. She is knowledgeable, kind, always on time and upbeat. She is always coming up with different exercises for me to try on the reformer based upon my current needs. One of the best things that I love about her is that she will correct my posture or position so that I am getting the most out of each exercise. I would highly recommend Claudia.

Eric did a really great job teaching us the intro class. I learned a lot and I feel ready for my 1.0 flow class tomorrow. The place is nice and big compared to other studios I’ve seen in other places and it’s clean. Great location too! It’s right across the hawkers street food which is perfect for what I need 😊

If you are new to reformer pilates, or this studio, here is the breakdown of what you need to know! There is not always a front desk person so if you call, you might have to leave a VM until the studio is open and/or has someone answering calls. I would avoid just showing up randomly for more information. This is not like a normal gym with a front desk person - it's a nice intimate studio! But note that once they have your number, they will reach out promptly! They can text you as well and answer any questions. Okay so you're new to pilates? Please know you need to bring your own grippy socks! Amazon yourself a pack it's quite easy. I suggest not getting to the studio too early! If there is a class beforehand, it will still be in a session 10 minutes until your class starts to I suggest only getting to the studio 10 minutes before or you will be sitting there. There are no locker rooms or places to change - the bathroom is through the studio so if you arrive early and need to use the restroom you will walk through the class (which is fine but still good to know!). There are cubbies to hold your belongings and shoes. There is a water fill station as well if you bring your own water bottle or you can grab a little cup next to it. Now when we look at classes, every single instructor is different. It is best to try an instructor at least 2 times to see if their vibe is for you! Some instructors have harder classes even if it's the level so it's best to try out each instructor. The classes range from 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0. You cannot attend a 2.0 class without passing a test. If you are new I suggest 1.0 "Reformer" - there are "cardio sculpt" classes which is supposed to be cardio but it really doesn’t bring my heartrate up ever so try it out but start with the Reformer classes first. Remember, pilates is not about speed and reps - it's about ensuring your form is correct and SLOWLY moving - time under tension - builds strength and stability. If you are looking for high intensity this is not for you. This studio accommodates to every single person and every single body. You could be new to fitness and still find the studio welcoming! You could be experienced/fit and still be able to find classes with instructors that suit your needs. If you are brand new to fitness, give it a go and try it out a few times. There is a vast age range of members in each class, along with both genders.
