  Despite explaining our situation and coming in for an emergency, we were made to wait for over four hours. The staff was uncooperative and unhelpful throughout. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

  My mother went to the emergency room May 29th after dinner time... There was a 4 hour wait and then after that it was going to be at least and I say at least another 4 hours... This is totally unacceptable it's memorial Day weekend and they need to have doctors on call for this people were leaving that had broken ribs and broken ankles and of course now my mom's laying here sick as a dog horrible horrible experience..***** just realized I never Explain what happened next... She went back two days later and this time after getting checked in...they realize how bad she was...her bowels exploded... I'm assuming they had already the first time she went...well after emergency surgery,a induced coma, and about 24 hrs later I no longer have a mother.., they really should of admitted her right away the first time...she couldn't even sit in the waiting room, she told my dad take me home I don't have enough energy to sit here and wait all these hours... actually it was a 10 hr wait...guess you have to have 1 foot 🦶 in the grave before they will admit you and with them not knowing her bowels exploded they made her choose leaving instead of waiting for the full 10 hours... I must say the staff in the ICU were exceptional... It's just a shame that upper management has no clue how to run a hospital... I don't care what happens no hospital in America should ever have a 10 hour wait and have someone like my mother choose life or death because she does not have enough energy to sit in the seat and wait.. shame on you upper management... Thank you for a great job you did with my mother... I wish I could put negative Stars down.

  5 stars for a short wait to get out of the waiting room, and a Pediatric Dr. who explained everything well. 0 Stars for the nursing staff who gossiped and ranted outside the room of a concussion patient with a headache AND failed to check on any patients for hours unless asked by parents. Go to St. Joes.

  I went to patient first with severe lower abdominal pain, went for an X-ray, they called and said I had a lacerated spleen and to get to the er asap. I waited 3.5 hours in the waiting room before getting a room. I almost wish I would've died so my family could sue. Flash forward 6 years, my boyfriend has severe upper abdominal pain, I mean doubled over throwing up pain. Went to er st 4am waited maybe 20 minutes which was nice, for the er doctor to tell him there's nothing he could do and didn't bother running any tests. My bf had gastric bypass a year prior and even after telling the doc it wasn't his stomach that hurt, it was higher up, he got a nasty attitude and said "sorry, can't help. You need to call your bariatric surgeon". Ended up being gallstones has lodged in his liver. Good job.
