  This hospital is a joke, they need to shut it down. I was transferred from patient first due to chest pain , dizziness and Twave inversion, the nurses including the attending physician seems not to know what they’re doing. I will not send my dog to that hospital I swear. The worst treatment ever. No assessment, no tele monitoring just cardiac enzymes. Nobody including the doctor listened to my lungs and heart. I was sitting in a recliner for 7 good hours. My potassium level was 3.0 , I was given oral potassium supplements, and was discharged with potassium level of 3.2 . No repeat of EKG and no Cardiac monitoring for the 7 hours. Nobody offered me any water and no ivf since my Twave was caused by dehydration. The worst part was the so called Md did stroke assessment before discharge just to cover his grounds . Men, it was terrible I wonder how this hospital pass JACHO audits. I was feeling dizzy the nurse pointed the bathroom to me and left me all alone and she told me to go and wait at the waiting area , did not even show me where the waiting room is ,and this a patient that is unstable with chest pain. I have never received a hurrible treatment from a medical staff before . The staff needs to go back to school.

  Billing is legitimately evil. Charged me $1000 for an ER visit where I only received a blood draw and test and IV fluids. Which, somehow, Blue Cross Blue Shield decided I was liable for in entirety due to some bizarre agreement they have. Avoid like the plague.

  The ER experience was extremely frustrating. We spent a long time in the waiting/results area rather than being placed in a room, which was especially difficult because I had my baby with me. Managing a child in that environment for an extended period was exhausting. I understand ERs get busy, but the setup and lack of privacy made the experience much worse. I would choose a different hospital for my children in the future.

  This was a terrible experience. The only person who identified themselves was the Dr and the last nurse I saw. The Dr. was great and I was very appreciative of her. The rest of them acted irritated and annoyed with me. I was in absolute agony and someone came in and just stood over me asking what was wrong with me. I have no idea who it was, I never saw her again. I was in extreme pain and was told I needed to walk to CT, I said I am unable to walk due to the pain, they accommodated me but then just parked me back out in the waiting room. No communication, concern or checking on me. I pressed the last nurse to have questions answered and while he was polite, my questions weren't answered. I asked several questions about medications that were being prescribed at my pharmacy and they told me I was wrong. I kept pressing until they asked the Dr. The Dr had forgotten to write it down and submit the prescription. No one apologized. I was given a shot of narcotic and sent on my way. I should not have been allowed to drive. One of the nurses wanted to argue with me about the morphine not helping with the pain. She didn't ask any questions, just acted incredulous when I said I was still in terrible pain. I have never been anywhere where the nurses attitude and treatment was so poor. They should look into other careers. This was on a Monday morning, they were not busy. I will never go back there. I would rather suffer and go to an ER further away with capable nurses. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. It's a disgrace to healthcare.

  I think a lot of people only post a review when they are dissatisfied. This place is very efficient and they do a great job of getting tests done while you’re waiting to be seen. I’ve had to use them 6 times in the last three years that I’ve lived in Harford County and have had great experiences. The only concern I’ve had was once they brought us back to room in the ER (this past Saturday) there was a chair that should have been thrown away 10 years ago. The reclining chair she was sitting in, I wasn’t sure was clean so I put blankets on it and the floor still had dried blood. We were out of that room in half an hour and I did mention to the nurse that he needed to have that chair thrown away.
