  Terrible experience, they didn't enter my son's insurance information correctly. I called several times to correct the error and they still sent the bill to collections, affecting my credit.

  I received the best care of any hospital I have ever been in here. I was in the hospital at the end of my pregnancy and couldn't have asked for a friendlier more caring staff and crew. They made me feel like family and treated me with the utmost respect. I have bragged on this hospital since 2018 when my son was born.

  This is probably one of the worst Emergency Rooms I've ever been to. There was dried up blood on the floor. None of the restrooms were clean AT ALL. There were used gauses, dried up stains, toilet paper, and Lead stickers on the floor since the day before. Ive watched dozens of staff members(Including housekeeping) walk by the same piece of trash on the floor for hours until one person finally picked it up. They also had patients being evaluated and treated in the hallways with no privacy except rollable dry eraser boards between each patient's bed. Everyone could hear every detail about each patient's case From their symptoms, medical history, complaints, and constant cries for assistance. We've been in the hallway for over 12 hours and all we got was different staff memebers asking us the same questions over and over again. Everytime each person went through our medical history and medications, that information was not consistent at all. We had to keep correcting the information that they had. We've seen everyone but the doctors that specializes in what we came for. No one had an answer to when, what, where, and who the doctors were. I wouldn't recommend the ED to anyone.

  Why does UMMC make cancer patients come to their facility every day and make them sit around for hours knowing they have a constant platelet shortage and then send them home with NO platelets? The system is broken and forgot how important or how to care about the actual patients. They only see $$, very sad and unfortunate. Thanks to all the Healthcare and Insurance companies that only care about your money!

  Was helped here with my partially paralized face, luckily it wasn't a stroke. Got helped by a few people of which Amanda Rocco was the one who really took extra time that she didn't have to be honest. It was busy and it took a while but Amanda and the others did all they could. After Neurology checked me I was send to the Pharmacy but Amanda walked along to show me where I needed to be. Thank you and your colleagues Amanda !! A patient that is getting better day by day, not talking like Rocky Balboa anymore and can wink again with my left eye !! 😉🖖🏼 Live Long and Prosper !!
