They gave very thorough explanations and answers, they helped me through a bout of medication-induced nausea by providing water and saltines, and they were gentle and comforting during my small procedure here. If you are ever scheduled with midwife Fahey, you are in good hands.
- FCFred ConlonJun 2, 20261.0During my treatment with Dr. Ferrada at University of Maryland Faculty Physicians Inc. at Redwood, from November 2024 to April 2026, I experienced interactions with her that made me deeply uncomfortable and felt supremely unprofessional. I found the physical examinations to be unnecessarily prolonged in ways that seemed inappropriate and too intimate for a medical consultation. I also felt that my concerns about my medical care and treatment were dismissed, and I was later surprised to be informed of behavioral allegations that I believe do not accurately represent my conduct as a patient. When I made a complaint about Dr Ferrada’s behavior, University of Maryland Faculty Physicians were of little to no help, and I strongly believe this complaint led in part or directly to my subsequent termination as a patient. Dr Ferrada will likely give you her personal phone number, which seems super convenient at first. But from my experience she struggles with boundaries, so I would strongly recommend against texting her, instead keeping all communications relegated to the patient portal.
