Let's start with the optical shop - It's a joke! They changed staff around last winter (probably this year too) and it hasn't improved anything. There's a huge disconnect in the dept. logistics! Disorganized chaos! How can you sell eyewear protection plans but not have paper copies of the terms/conditions of that plan for patients to reference?? What sense does that make?? You shouldn't only hear about the plan details verbally, that's not a standard buisness practice and can easily confuse details that way. The same goes for any sales/deals happening. Have it physically advertised for people to see also! One of the female optical staff, Tajah, seems to always have a condescending tone and provocative attitude when talking as if she has a problem! She'll say one thing and then say another thing later looking as if she said the same exact thing from the beginning, creating confusion. It's ridiculous! It's like you have to argue with her! She spends more time talking to people as if they are her children than actually listening! You have to cut her off and tell her where she's wrong and don't allow her speak to you in any manner other than professional! She can keep the extra attitude at home! The staff before was much more customer service oriented. ****************************************************************** Next, the front desk clinic staff. Some of them have become very comfortable with their jobs, disrespecting people and playing around! I thought this was a place of business, not a playground! There's a short, brown, very heavy set female that sits to the left at the front desk somtimes and she has a very nasty attitude with her mouth for that job! Stan/stanely or whatever his name is the older male with long grey/black dreads working the check out area, directly behind the front desk. He has a hostile attitude and behavioral issues with certain people, thinking he's head honcho in the practice and can tell ADULT PATIENTS what they can/cannot do - like he's in control of someone. He is not in charge of anything anywhere in any healthcare system. He's not even a techinician! DO YOUR JOB AND SCHEDULE! QUIT PLAYING AROUND WITH GROWN FOLKS! GO HOME! SIMPLE!! Don't know why he thinks he's above his job, but people are not toys! Playing around with people, especially at your job, is never a smart thing to do. People have various medical issues coming into the practice, seeking professional care! ****************************************************************** There's so much negative attitude from staff that aren't even capable of providng BASIC customer service nor medical services. Who are these people?? Surely not professionals! I don't care how long they've worked there! Trust me, the level of professionlism changes depending on who the staff are talking to, like physicians/nurses and other administrative staff that work for other departments in hospital/outpatient buildings. Why isn't managment or patient relations info displayed in the clinic anyway??? This place needs a facelift! No one is going to continue dealing with this! ****************************************************************** Do yourself a favor and go to Lens Crafters ,Vision work, Target optical et or another reputable business, atleast you get your monies worth for eyewear! Had it not been for some of the advanced professional medical providers like Dr. Friedman and ODs like Dr. Goode themselves, I woudn't be coming here from out of state. No one has time or money to waste! It's really a shame because the practice could be great!

Waited 15 minutes just to be checked in even though I was the only one on the list. Told the receptionist that's not my PCP when told to confirm information. She stared at me blankly. Finally get back to see the doctor only to find out the doctor I'm scheduled with can't see me for contacts. I was called and told they rescheduled my doctor a while back and if that's okay since my last doctor has left the practice. This ended up being untrue. This is now the second visit where I was turned away due to a scheduling / insurance issue. Spoke to the manager and she claimed it was due to doctor turnover. That wasn't really my issue. My issue is the lack of service and knowledge with the front desk and the people who deal with scheduling. Just a poorly run location. Extremely unorganized and nothing is quick nor efficient here.
