  My son recently attended the 6 week feeding day program and it was GREAT! The team did a wonderful job of observing, listening, setting goals, and helping our family feel welcome and apart of the team. We had regular meetings so that wins could be celebrated and progress goals could be tweaked if need be. The nurses track weight gain/loss and make sure the kiddos are feeling well. The speech and occupational therapists really get to know your child. They understand that every child is unique with different abilities and needs. Each plan is tailored to YOUR child. The play room staff are very friendly! The psychology team makes sure the child and their family are successful at home/school. The administrators make the process as easy as possible and make sure that parents feel supported and comfortable. They all work together to set you up to continue after the program is over. Whether your goals are to eat more, eat less, drink, try new foods, etc… it’s possible with the Feeding Day Program at Mt. Washington

  Terri in Radiology went above and beyond for our little guy. He had an urgent need for a study that scheduling was not showing appts for until 6 months out, but she made it her mission to assist us and find a way to make everything work. She’s been such a blessing to us and because of her efforts our sweet little one is getting the care he desperately needed. Thank you, Terri, for going above and beyond!

  Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital has been a blessing to our family. We have had many wonderful experiences in various departments throughout MWPH. My son's initial diagnosis of autism was performed here in a manner that was comfortable for me and my son. He participated in social skills groups when he younger offered by MWPH. Most recently he was treated by the feeding clinic (Thank you Ms. Emily!). Ms. Emily also introduced us to this incredible program within MWPH called Abilities Adventures run by Ms. Lindie. Ms. Lindie is an amazing person who plans the most wonderful experiences. She has helped me, my son, my daughter, and my husband to experience and discover what we all are truly capable of. Having a disability or challenging situation should not limit your life experiences. Through this program my son was able to overcome some of his anxiety and participate in activities in a supportive environment. There are many supportive volunteers in this program (all of them amazing!) Thank you so much Ms. Lindie and Ms. Hadley who are always there to help and support us!

  One of the best experiences ever at a hospital. Every staff member was attentive, kind, responsive, and friendly. The hospital is so clean. The nurses are so patient and compassionate about the work they do. The security staff did a wonderful job at keeping the building safe and secure! We are so appreciative of the staff here! Thank you!!!
