Though the wait to have my stitches removed was excessively long, I’ll never forget the kindness and compassion of the nurse and doctors who helped me the day of the accident. I believe my nurse’s name was Toya. She comforted me after an excruciating surgery and went out of her way to call me an Uber home even though I live within walking distance of the hospital. Today my leg is scarred but doing much better, and I look back at the experience with gratitude.
