It was a pleasure meeting Dr Levy and his assistant, they were professional and worked together like a hand and a glove. The two of them together were so much fun, they made me laugh. I can honestly say, this is the first time i’ve enjoyed going to the dentist!

Hello
I want to Thank Brooklyn Park Dentistry for such a loving involvement, I was in so much Peace.
I was so glad that Jen was my Dental Assistant, and I loved the worship music going in the room.
Dr.Freddy Flanagan was so quick I didn’t even realize he was done no pain at all during the extractions, and only a little pressure from the needles.
Trusting in God is holding your hand the whole time makes it easy, to me.
Love you all

I went in for a checkup about 6 months ago as a first appointment. The hygienist did xrays of my teeth and pointed out several problem areas, then called Dr. Barry Levy in to check on them. He spent about a minute looking over everything and then quickly left after giving us the all-clear; no cavities or problem spots to note.
I returned 2 weeks later for an unrelated problem (referred by GP to check for any dental problems related to halitosis). Another set of xrays were taken and the hygienist again called in Dr. Barry Levy to take a look at some problem spots she saw. This time the Dr. said that I had two spots that needed fillings. When I asked why they weren't spotted two weeks earlier, he said 'Oh, I must have missed them'.
At this point I didn't have a great feeling about the service so I went to another dentist to get everything checked over. Despite Dr. Barry Levy saying I needed two fillings, the new dentist didn't see any problem areas on my teeth, leading me to believe that either the problem was manufactured in order to do more dental work or the Dr. was mistaken. As of writing this review I've again had the problem areas checked without any need for fillings from the new dentist.
This could have been a run of the mill accident but based on my experiences I'd be wary of this practice. Even during the initial appointment they pushed hard for extra treatments that insurance only partially covered.

I met Dr. Frederick “Freddy” Flanagan and his wife through a mutual friend back in 2022, during a time when my family and I were actually considering relocating from Fredericksburg, Virginia to Baltimore, Maryland. We connected through their church, and from the very beginning, what stood out was their heart—genuine, welcoming, and grounded in the Word of God with love and sound doctrine.
They even opened their home to us as a potential place to stay. By the grace of God, doors opened for us to remain in Fredericksburg—but that connection never left.
Fast forward to 2026, and now Dr. Flanagan is not only a dentist but a business owner who has been serving for several years and is now expanding. I’m writing this review because I personally experienced his work—and it changed everything for me.
To be real, I had avoided the dentist for about 13 years due to terrible past experiences—from the military to other offices. I had a cracked wisdom tooth for about 7–8 years and another tooth causing constant pain. It got to the point where I couldn’t take it anymore.
I reached out to him on Facebook early one morning—and he responded right away. That same day, I made an appointment, got X-rays, and he clearly explained what needed to be done. Next thing I knew, I was getting two extractions the same day.
But here’s what really mattered—there was a peace that came over me. I knew I was in good hands.
He made sure I was comfortable, fully numb, and relaxed. The entire procedure was done with care, precision, and professionalism—in less than 25 minutes. And now, two weeks later, I feel SO much better.
I drove almost 2 hours from Fredericksburg to Brooklyn, Maryland—and I’d do it again without hesitation. That’s how much I trust him.
This isn’t just dentistry to me—this is ministry dentistry. Dr. Flanagan is a man of God first, and you can feel that in how he serves people. His work is excellent, but his heart is what sets him apart.
If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be genuinely cared for, I highly recommend Brooklyn Park Dental. You will be taken care of.
I’m grateful for the connection, the care, and the healing. This is a growing practice for a reason—and I fully support it.
