I am typing this as I exit Warby Parker in Annapolis. It’s my first time ever stopping by. I’m in dire need of new glasses, but still was in no rush (I’ve been looking for fun and fashionable frames for my next pair). A friend recommended this place after I fawned over their glasses, and today I happened to be in Annapolis, completely unaware there is a location here (with this luck I might play the lotto 😉) . Fast forward 30-minutes after walking in and I purchased three glasses😅. Three! Let me explain why this is so significant: 1. I’ve often had to purchase men frames because of the shape of my face. 2. I always want to make a statement, and frankly, men’s frames rarely give me the flair I desire. I learned that all the frames at Warby Parker are unisex and you can even convert sunglasses to glasses and vice versa! 3. It usually takes me over an hour to select one-two frames because I’m sifting through all the boring frames to find the few that serve my desired look. 4. I purchased three pairs (two pairs of glasses w/ blue light filter and one pair of sunglasses w/ polarized lenses and anti-glare) for the price of 2!!! The quality and style satisfy all my requires checkmarks (fashion, fun, comfort, and no cheap plastic or metal). I would be remiss to leave out one of the most friendly, stylish, and funny associates I’ve encountered during the eyeglass selection process - Aric!! He made the selection process even easier, offering suggestions on style. He even swapped out regular lenses for sunglass lenses so I could see which way I preferred to wear them. I absolutely will send everyone I know to see him, and most of all, I. WILL. RETURN!!! See you again soon, Aric! Seriously! Check this place out, guys! I’ve finally found a place that sells fashion and affordability. I couldn’t imagine buying three pairs of glasses, especially in today’s economy! I cannot WAIT to wear them. New look loading…!!! 💁🏾‍♀️💅🏾

Yesterday while sitting at my desk working, the arm fell off a pair of glasses I'd purchased from another retailer on 24 Jan 2025. Today is 30 Apr 2026... making my prescription more than a year old. Luckily, I had a backup second pair of glasses of the same prescription. That said, I wanted to get the frames that fell apart either fixed or replaced because I would now be without a backup pair of eyeglasses. When I went to the originating myvision store they would not fix or replace the glasses because I hadn't bought the $29.00 insurance where I was never asked about adding that option in the first place when I originally purchased the frames that just fell apart yesterday. Rather than fix or replace the obviously defective frames, they suggested I could use superglue myself, to reinsert the arm into the hinge myself but they refused to fix my glasses. Instead, I've gone online and given them a bad review in several instances... but enough about them. I opted instead to take my business elsewhere and walked down the street to buy new frames at the new Warby Parker store. I entered and was greeted by a salesclerk thereafter I spent some time looking at new frames. Now understand, had my other glasses not just fallen apart, I'd still be wearing and using the prescription dated 24 Jan 2025. So, after selecting a Warby Parker frame style I liked, I went to speak with the clerk and asked them to use my current prescription which I then presented. I was then told the prescription was more than a year old and would have to be replaced where I needed to see a doctor and get a new eye exam and prescription. That was absolutely absurd... I was already upset with the other vendor down the street, then to hear the clerk at Warby Parker tell me my prescription couldn't be used, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager came over and proceeded to tell me the same thing where he likened my using the eyeglasses prescription that I currently use daily, to my using an old out-of-date prescription medicine. He too refused to order new glasses for me using my current vision prescription. His response blew my mind. Warby Parker was refusing to honor my prescription because it was 66 days older than one year. I was told of course; I was welcome to waste more time and schedule an expensive eye exam with Warby Parker to get a new prescription identical to my current prescription. UGH. It's unfathomable... I've used the same prescription for years where last year for the first time in many years my script was slightly updated making it impossible for me to use my older glasses. I cannot believe Warby Parker wouldn't sell me new frames using my current 1-year and 66-day old prescription. Warby Parker is definitely NOT a business I’ll ever recommend to anyone. They're scammers.

Had a great experience today with Eric! I was so torn on what glasses I should get and he looked at what I picked and immediately brought a few other suggestions that were similar. I ended up picking glasses and sunglasses that were both recommended by him! And thanks to my insurance, I was able to get both at literally half the price of the glasses I liked at my regular eye doctor. Highly recommend coming by!
