  Braxton provided excellent customer service at For Eyes! Friendly, professional, and attentive, Braxton made my visit a great experience. I truly appreciate the helpful service and welcoming attitude. Highly recommend asking for Braxton when you visit!

  This was my second visit here, and it will be my last. I brought my son in for his annual eye exam; I stayed in the eyewear area while the exam was taking place, only to realize that the person conducting it was the receptionist rather than a doctor. I asked the young woman why there wasn't a eye doctor present as usual; she told me it appeared I had requested a virtual appointment—even though nothing of the sort was mentioned when I booked the appointment over the phone. Although the young woman was quite pleasant, I wasn't comfortable with the fact that she performed the exam; the doctor essentially just approved the new prescription generated by the receptionist via a video call. At the end of the process, I asked for my son's PD (pupillary distance), as it is required for buying glasses online; however, the man handling that part just blurted out the first number that came to mind without taking even a minute to check the prescription. So, unfortunately, if you want to be seen by a eye doctor in person, this isn't the place for you.

  Lost the screw holding the arm of my glasses on. My daughter who lives nearby suggested I go to FOR EYES. They did not disappoint. Braxton fixed my glasses at no charge and gave me suggestions on how to care for my glasses. Very thankful.

  If I could leave zero stars, I would. This clinic combines medical negligence with administrative laziness and open prejudice toward non-English speakers. My father waited 2 to 3 weeks for glasses from a basic eye exam, only to receive a prescription so wrong he couldn't see out of them, causing severe migraines that forced him to leave work early and lose wages just to get it corrected. Instead of fixing their mistake, the front desk scheduled a re-exam and then called a week later claiming he had to pay out-of-pocket because insurance wouldn't cover back-to-back exams. When I called to demand accountability, the staff member admitted she gave him false information, but when told to call him back to rectify her own error, she sneered, "Would he even understand what I’m saying in the voicemail cause he doesn’t know English?" and asked why I couldn't just do her job for her. It is not a family member's responsibility to manage basic administrative duties because your staff is too lazy and prejudiced to extend standard medical courtesy to non-English speakers. Do not bring your family here! They will mess up your care, attempt to scam you into paying for their blunders, and treat you with complete contempt.
