From the moment I walked in I received a warm greeting by the receptionists and Dr. Harmelin was very thorough in his diagnosis, and provided clear recommendations.

Dr. Harmelin is undeniably a skilled podiatrist, and the quality of his work is the only reason my father continues to see him. Clinically, he is thorough, knowledgeable, and effective. However, the chronic wait times once patients are placed in examination rooms are absolutely exasperating and, quite frankly, unacceptable. As a nurse, I understand that delays occasionally occur in healthcare settings. Emergencies happen, schedules fluctuate, and patient care can be unpredictable. What I cannot excuse is the consistent pattern of disregarding scheduled appointment times and routinely taking patients out of order despite staff attempting to keep things organized. Sitting in an exam room for an excessive amount of time without communication demonstrates a lack of respect for patients’ time and obligations. If the office is unable or unwilling to adhere to its appointment schedule, then appointments should not be booked so tightly. Efficiency and patient flow are essential components of professional medical practice, and unfortunately this office falls significantly short in that regard. Were it not for the convenience of the location for my father, I would unequivocally recommend seeking another podiatrist. Excellent clinical work should not come at the expense of such consistently pathetic wait times.

Dr. Harmelin is an excellent podiatrist. He takes the time to listen, answer questions and explains procedures thoroughly. He is friendly and has a great sense of humor. He is also very accommodating and valued my time. Dr. Harmelin resolved my toenail issues, which I highly recommend him for. His office is run well. His staff is very professional and polite. I'm grateful to have found Dr. Harmelin and I highly recommend him.
