  When everything in my life was in ashes, my soul devoid of anything positive, unmanageable and a true friend of the devil; I was introduced to The Peak Treatment Center. Just coming out of a terrible situation and needing more help than I imagined, I was contacted by Mike Divver (Director of Community Outreach), he wasn’t selling a line cheap recovery, he was offering a chance to get well and stay well. Something was different about his communication. He was relentless and solid with his character. I had no choice but to walk through the door he put in front of me after all of the doors that had just closed. The next steps I was about to take have changed my life. A broken man on my first day, I met Mike Divver, the man whose outreach was flawless and full of fire as a message of recovery. Next, I was about to have my mind blown; Justin Laporte walks out of the office and comes up to greet me. I had known Justin as a child in grammar school and later on in high school, a small word. He too, was full of fire with a different look in his eye than the last time we had seen each other, like his roots grasped a different soil, the soil I wish to be rooted in. The atmosphere is beautiful. Positive and uplifting right off the rip. As someone with a lot of experience in treatment centers, my expectations are pretty low. Peak Treatment Center, isn’t the typical treatment center. It was at this point that I was introduced to Michelle Laporte, she immediately swept me under her wing and walked me through the intake process like the true professional she is. She would then become my counselor. Honest, loving, humble and not afraid to call me out, all of the qualities I’m in search of in my treatment. She too, full of fire. I can’t tell you enough how grateful I am to have the experience that PEAK offers. They have taken CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to a new level. Providing an atmosphere that fosters growth and humility. The groups that are offered here really push me to think and grow, not just sitting around talking about “triggers” and playing games. Even offering a sound bowl and breathing programs. They keep it live, care deeply about each client and have built a reputation that provides evidence for that. The camaraderie present in our groups continues to grow. Surrounded by people that really want this, that’s how we grow; helping each other. If you’re looking for a firm foundation to start your life fresh and clean, PEAK is offering just that. CBT and its application, not just knowledge, is how they make it work. Head knowledge and heart knowledge are two different things, they show us the difference. All I needed to do was come in honest, open minded and willing to do something different.

  Everyone that works there is amazing. The staff is caring, insightful, and supportive. They are very professional and knowledgeable. They help find resources as well as provide personalized care. Peak also provides an uplifting atmosphere during treatment. Thank you Justin, Michelle, and Jameson for being exceptional and extremely supportive. I'm extremely grateful for being part of this program.
