- BRBhavya RamMar 18, 20261.0I did enjoy the class while I was going, the instructors were all nice and and helped correct posture when they noticed I was doing it wrong. The 1-star rating truly goes to the brand and studio itself and not any of the instructors. Club Pilates is on the higher end price wise for pilates studios; I wanted to cancel my membership since I couldn't commit to the classes and at that price point, it did not feel worth it. When I called, it went to voicemail and I got a text response back the next day saying they have a 30-day cancellation policy that I don't recall them mentioning at the time of sign up. I sent them an email and they responded saying they're going to look into it - no update. 4 days later I got billed again for the next cycle. Nowhere on Club Pilates website's Terms does it mention a 30-day cancellation policy. It's ridiculous to require a longer notice period to quit a workout studio than to quit a 9 to 5 job.

I asked in February if they could cancel my membership and was sent back a response that they require a 30 day notice and that I would still need to pay for February but the membership could be cancelled in March. I had no issue with this and agreed and was given written confirmation that the membership would be cancelled in March of 2026. They followed up with me asking if I was sure I wanted to cancel my membership and I said I was. I then missed a response asking if I wanted the membership frozen instead. On 3/13 I was charged $129 along with a $20 late payment fee.
