  Simply terrible! My father has had nothing but mishaps all stemming from this pharmacy's incompetence. All of the problems began this year. Apparently there is a new owner and a new system and all of their reliability has gone to he!!. We have had several medications that have been sent in and just sat there unprocessed when needed. Rather than reaching out to me, the Health Care Proxy and DPOA, the prescription just sat there with no action being taken. Even once I called in to find out why it hadn't been filled, they assured me it would be delivered the next day but never was. Another week later still no follow up and no delivery. I had to call yet again... by this time very upset...and finally two more days later the medication was delivered. Now, this week alone, two medications were not filled and no contact was made to me. One resulted in adverse reactions to being off the medication for almost 4 days. The very next day another important medication was not delivered and no contact was made to me or the facility. I placed a call demanding a call back and no one called me from the pharmacy. After being told this morning that it would absolutely be delivered today, it just got in. Thankfully. But I'm not convinced this won't happen again. You deliver to many vulnerable older adults. You should be held accountable for any adverse consequences for your incompetence. If there is any other pharmacy option, I highly recommend avoiding Greater Boston LTC Pharmacy. It's a shame. They used to be good.

  These folks are AMAZING! I've been using them for the past six months for my father. Whenever I call, I get friendly, professional and quick service. Their policies do differ from a box store. It might be best to educate yourself prior to setting up an account, so that you are not disappointed when things don't work like the box stores. For example, my dad needed a prescription filled on a Sunday evening. They are closed at that time.
