Springfield Comprehensive Treatment Center

Springfield Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is located in Springfield, Massachusetts, and provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with an addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, or other opioids. MAT is different from traditional outpatient opioid use disorder treatment because it involves a prescription for medication to reduce the severity of withdrawal symptoms and improve patient outcomes. Adults who take part in MAT at Springfield CTC receive a prescription for methadone or Suboxone and also benefit from customized counseling, which can include both individual and group sessions to give them the resources they need to achieve long-term recovery.
