I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the ongoing issues my daughter and I have experienced with our memberships at Club Pilates. What began as an exciting opportunity for us to prioritize our physical and mental well-being together has unfortunately turned into an extremely stressful and frustrating experience. From the very beginning, there were significant issues with my daughter’s membership enrollment. During the sign-up process, she was incorrectly charged, resulting in a billing error that required a refund. While waiting for the refund to be processed, she was unable to access her account properly, had no available class credits, and was unable to book any classes for nearly an entire month. This was particularly upsetting because joining Club Pilates was a commitment we intentionally made together as part of supporting our health and her mental wellness. Instead of providing a positive and encouraging experience, the administrative errors created unnecessary stress and prevented her from participating altogether. Despite these early challenges, I chose to continue with my membership because I had already committed financially to an unlimited plan. For the past three months, I attended classes regularly—often daily—and genuinely enjoyed many aspects of the workout experience. However, the issues continued. The most disappointing experience occurred around my birthday when I purchased individual classes for friends so we could celebrate together. Unfortunately, there was a scheduling miscommunication regarding the reserved spots despite my providing clear and detailed instructions via text message. I have documentation showing the conversations and confirming the expectations that had been communicated. As a result, the class was interrupted, creating an embarrassing and uncomfortable situation in front of my guests during what was meant to be a special occasion. Throughout these ongoing concerns, I communicated directly with Sarah, who I understand is the General Manager of the location. While she is always welcoming and friendly in person, my experience with the handling of these issues has been disappointing. The concerns raised were not addressed with the level of urgency, professionalism, or accountability that I would expect from a wellness-focused business. In many instances, it felt as though the issues were acknowledged but never fully resolved. Over time, the repeated billing concerns, scheduling errors, lack of follow-through, and overall lack of resolution led me to make the decision to cancel both my membership and my daughter’s membership. I submitted my cancellation request via email and also communicated my intent to cancel verbally. Despite these efforts, I continued to receive charges and was ultimately forced to contact my bank, cancel my payment card, and request a replacement to prevent additional unauthorized charges. To make matters worse, I am now receiving frequent calls and text messages stating that my account will be sent to collections. It is extremely concerning that despite my documented cancellation requests and repeated attempts to resolve this matter directly, I am now being threatened with collections over a fitness membership. I have also attempted multiple times to escalate my concerns beyond the local studio management. Unfortunately, I have repeatedly been told that each location operates independently and that I must work directly with the studio. However, whenever I request to speak with someone above the General Manager level, no one appears to be available or willing to assist. This lack of transparency and absence of a clear escalation process leaves customers feeling trapped in a system where there is little accountability and no meaningful avenue for resolution. I would like to specifically recognize Alexandra and Brenda, who have consistently been exceptional instructors. Their classes were engaging, professional, and motivating, and I often made a point to book sessions specifically with them. They are a true asset to your organization.

I started at Club Pilates 3 months ago and my experience has been very positive so far! I can feel myself getting stronger and more toned. I highly recommend Angela as an instructor - she kicks my ass every time (in the best way possible!) She gives clear instructions, varies the workouts every week, gives individualized help with your form, and motivates you to keep going while keeping the vibes light and fun. You do have to be somewhat strategic when booking classes off the app since they fill up quick, but even when I've been 7th on the waitlist I've been pulled into the class. I always go about my day assuming I'll be pulled into every class I'm waitlisted, that way there's no surprises. Overall would definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun way to get in shape :)

I have cancellation problem. They have a horrible management. They answered it cannot be done because I didn't leave any signed form (although they said in oral communication you're all set and it will be refunded, they just delayed their response after that. I'd never used my membership in the period, but it was not refunded). They even renewed my membership by cheating my sigature. Since there is the cancellation policy which is written as it can be cancelled within three business day without any penalty, I requested the cancellation the day after I received my renewed contract (I didn't sign though). But whenever I asked the cancellation and to get the form to cancel, I heard they do not have any signing form at all and repeat it cannot be cancelled. And they enforced me to pay the upcoming month as well. If you are intereted in this and will not continue your membership forever, I highly recommend you to have every single document when you communicate with them.

I can't speak highly enough of Club Pilates in Assembly and reformer pilates in general. I joined in 2017 when they first opened and was a member for over a year before regretfully moving and ceasing my membership. I recently rejoined and am kicking myself for ever stopping. As far as reformer pilates as a workout goes you really cannot go wrong. It has helped me immensely on my wellness journey through managing pain associated with chronic illness, and has coupled really well with various PT I've needed over the years. Limitation or not reformer pilates provides a full body workout that is generally low impact enough for anyone and can be customized to any intensity level. It also couples really well with and includes mindfulness and breathing practice and is a great outlet. I really love each instructor at Assembly for their own reasons, and will highlight a few. Katie makes a point to get to know every person that takes her class. She walks one by one down the line of reformers before every class starts to introduce herself to newcomers, learn about their body and limitations, and ask everyone she has been acquainted with how their body is feeling and if anything is bothering them that day. She has a strong attention to detail, which leads to consistent hands on correction, even and especially small tweaks. As someone with a chronic condition I can't say enough how much I appreciate and respect this approach. Arnold has a long history with body work and it shows in how he teaches his classes. He makes a point to describe and name muscle groups and exactly how they should feel what and when. He is extremely insightful especially about integrating pilates with other wellness methodologies. His anecdotes make class fun and engaging. Maite has extensive dance training which shows in her class teachings. Movements she instructs are always elegant and make me feel tall and strong. Classes with her are always equally challenging and rewarding. Rebekah is my favorite of the remaining instructors, but it is definitely close :) I see a lot of what I've said about the 3 above in her, which is really awesome. She is always happy to listen to a complaint, concern, etc. and provide a suggestion for a commonly included pose/exercise, a stretch/exercise to do at home, etc. I find the way that she vocalizes instruction/corrections to be extremely helpful and intuitive. I've also really appreciated CP Assembly's covid policies, standards, and cleanliness since I have rejoined. Can't wait for the additional class types to be added back to the schedule!
