- MBMariana BetancurJul 27, 20261.0I was not pleased with my appointment with Dr. Zhen Gao. The front desk services were great and very kind. But Dr. Zhen Gao had a horrible attitude, seemed very uninterested in what I had to say to her and just overall had no compassion. I was very disappointed with my visit and unfortunately had to pay a substantial amount for an exam that to me wasn’t taken seriously.

I was having an issue with my contact lens prescription, and they didn’t rush the process. They made sure the fit was comfortable, had me try multiple options, and even sent me home with different trial lenses to wear over the next few weeks to ensure I found the best fit. I highly recommend this Pearle Vision location. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about making sure you have a great experience. I never felt rushed or pressured, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was right.

We came in and seen an Asian lady (I don’t remember her name) who was supposed to do my daughter’s exam and another male doctor. (Whom I found out later that is in fact her husband) Instead we found ourselves in the middle of a marital spat that was extremely unprofessional and the lady refused to do my daughters eye exam but proceeded to tell me that something is wrong with her eye but she doesn’t want to do it because she’s having a bad day and it’ll take 30 mins and that’s too long. AND because of her mood she won’t execute it properly!!! Her and the male doctor (her husband) kept going back and forth yelling (he kept apologizing and saying it’s complicated???) and at multiple points I was yelled at as well and treated very poorly. All of this in front of my two children!!! The end result is I still don’t know what’s wrong with my daughter’s eye and I just spent an hour between a lover spat. KEEP YOUR PERSONAL LIFE OUT OF THE OFFICE !!!!
