  I am incredibly disappointed with my experience at this GNC location today. This is my home store, and as a regular customer who comes here consistently, I expect much better. I went in to pick up my regular monthly protein supplement, where four separate price labels on the shelf clearly listed the product for $64.99. When I got to the register, the item scanned at $106.99—a massive $42 discrepancy. The cashier informed me that the store layout was being changed and the labels were simply "in the wrong places." While I understand that inventory shifts happen, that is an internal operational issue, not a loyal customer's financial responsibility. When the employee contacted the store manager to fix the error, the manager flatly refused to honor the price clearly displayed on the shelf. The Facts: Displayed Price: $64.99 (on 4 identical shelf tags) Register Price: $106.99 Resolution Offered: None. A complete refusal to correct the mistake for a regular customer. Under Massachusetts Item Pricing Law (M.G.L. c. 94, § 184B-184E), retailers are legally required to honor the lowest price clearly indicated on a shelf tag or item label. Refusing to do so is a direct violation of state consumer protection regulations. I used to appreciate coming to this location, but this blatant disregard for both state law and customer loyalty is unacceptable. I expect GNC corporate or the franchise management to look into this specific store immediately and remedy this situation. I will gladly update this review once management honors the correct pricing, but until then, beware of bait-and-switch pricing at this location. UPDATE: The owner replied with a generic, automated apology, but completely failed to offer a real remedy or honor the price. Investigating "to prevent future discrepancies" doesn't fix the fact that you violated MA law and overcharged a regular customer today. Still waiting for a real resolution.
