    The Medi Weightloss Billerica team is absolutely amazing! Everyone is so friendly, encouraging, and incredibly supportive..they truly felt like my own cheerleading team throughout my journey šŸ’• Although I couldn’t complete my goal because I moved to a different state, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend them. My only suggestion would be to include more vegetarian meal options in the plan to make it even more convenient for those following a vegetarian diet šŸ˜‹

    My experience with Medi Weightloss in Billerica started positive but became concerning due to inconsistent information and unexpected requirements. Initial experience: The first consultation with the operations manager was friendly, welcoming, and clearly explained the program. The first medical appointment was also straightforward. I was told directly by the medical provider that weekly check‑ins were not required and that I could delay the diet until the medication effects increased. Follow‑up appointment: A few weeks later, the medical provider again confirmed that weekly visits were not required and that I could begin the diet when comfortable. The guidance was consistent, and I left with my next prescription. Where things changed: When I later called to schedule my next appointment, I was transferred to the operations manager. The tone was unexpectedly aggressive, and I was interrupted repeatedly while trying to explain what the medical providers had told me. I was informed that I was not following the program, that frequent visits were required, and that I could not continue receiving prescriptions unless I agreed to come in more frequently. I was also told the medical providers had been ā€œspoken to,ā€ which directly contradicted the guidance I had received at both appointments. I was not allowed to schedule my next visit until I agreed to the new requirements. More inconsistency: At the following appointment, the medical provider acknowledged the conversation but told me that coming in ā€œwhenever I couldā€ was fine. This conflicted with what the operations manager had insisted on. Weekly visits cost $140 each, and this requirement had never been communicated by the medical providers. Why I left: The shift from supportive medical guidance to business‑driven pressure felt like a bait‑and‑switch. The expectations changed only after I began seeing results, and the new requirements were tied to receiving prescriptions. What I’m doing now: I switched to an online provider, where the process has been simple, respectful, and free of unexpected conditions. I check in weekly with my weight and monthly for prescriptions, and the experience has been smooth. My recommendation: Based on my experience, I would stay away. Look at online providers or contact your primary.

    Today, we, as a family, celebrated our one-year anniversary. My son has lost 50+, my husband 40+, and I have lost 25+. We have stayed with this program, and it has made us healthier. The staff members in the Billerica office are fabulous. We love them!
