  I was so happy with my experience today at LensCrafters in North Attleborough. Jess called my Opthamologist for my prescription and it was ready when I arrived. Amber (salesperson) suggested a pair of frames that I don't think I would have even looked at and I actually loved how they looked on me!   After weeks of phone calls, explanations, and being told why my problem couldn’t be solved, I walked into the LensCrafters on South Washington Street in North Attleboro expecting one more battle. Wilson simply solved it. My prescription had changed unexpectedly, just outside another store’s rigid 60-day window. There were no exceptions and very little understanding. I had already used my insurance benefit for the year, couldn’t afford to simply buy another pair of prescription glasses, and had four months to wait before my benefit renewed. The parent company tried to help, but the insurance contractor put both my doctor and me through weeks of runaround without resolving the problem. By the time I got to LensCrafters, I was frustrated and exhausted by the whole thing. To my surprise, Wilson had already spoken with the insurance contractor, understood the issue, and gotten it resolved in my favor. What impressed me most was how he handled it. Wilson seemed to understand what needed to be done better than the people I had spent weeks dealing with, but he didn’t make a big production out of it. No “no,” no fuss, no lecture about policies, and no making the problem mine to solve. He simply took care of it and got on with the transaction. After weeks of hearing about obstacles, that was an enormous relief. And then we got to the glasses! I’m picky about my glasses, so I was there for a couple of hours. Wilson was knowledgeable and offered thoughtful advice, but never pressured me. He was patient, professional, and genuinely pleasant throughout. Not once did I feel rushed, like I was overstaying my welcome, or taking time away from other customers. I felt like I was the most important customer in the store. What really struck me, though, was that everyone else seemed to feel that way too. The entire staff worked beautifully together. I noticed other customers relaxed, laughing and chatting with the person helping them. Staff offered a compliment here, a little gentle advice there. The atmosphere was warm, comfortable, and easygoing while still completely professional. It didn’t feel like people were simply being processed through a store. The frame selection was excellent, too. I’ve shopped at other optical stores, but LensCrafters had both the better selection and, more importantly, the better experience. Wilson went above and beyond without ever telling me he was going above and beyond. He didn’t make me feel like a difficult customer with a difficult problem. He simply figured out what needed to be done, did it, and then gave me all the time I needed to find glasses I loved. That, to me, is exceptional customer service. Five stars to Wilson and the entire South Washington Street LensCrafters team. You turned an experience I had been dreading into one I genuinely enjoyed.
