  I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience working with Dr. Malik! From our very first conversation, he was an absolute pleasure to work with—warm, kind, patient, thoughtful, and incredibly knowledgeable. His assessment was exceptionally thorough, and I was so impressed by the care and attention he brought to both our conversations and the written report. Beyond his expertise, he has a wonderful way of making you feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for. I actually looked forward to our follow-up conversation and really enjoyed talking with him! It is abundantly clear that he is not only exceptionally good at what he does, but also deeply invested in the people he works with. I came away from the experience feeling incredibly grateful for his time, insight, and care. He has a real gift for this work, and I’m so glad he is sharing it with others. I would recommend him wholeheartedly and without hesitation!

  Somehow a place which supposedly specializes in neuropsychological and neurocognitive assessments was unable to adequately and consistently accommodate for chronic illness and cognitive limitations and seemingly made a conceited effort to ignore said known health conditions in the evaluation process. Clinical staff were unable to demonstrate comprehension of disability accommodations or communicate directly regarding the evaluation process. Key aspects of the resulting report were based on clinician biases alone and there was a distinct lack of validated outcome measures for the diagnoses I had specifically mentioned concern for. Clinicians reported that I refused things they never asked for and consistently communicated conflicting information. The history they did report was inaccurate. Escalating my concerns resulted in a similar level of treatment communication, and comprehension issues, and the practice manager seemed inexperienced or unwilling to demonstrate any authority. If entire portions of your clinical opinion are going to be based on interview alone and not validated measures, than it is negligent to allow such little time for actual interview. The recommendations I was provided for continued care were laughably generic and only reinforce that the provider was not listening beyond what she wanted to hear. I am unsure what value this practice could provide for any adult seeking diagnostic clarity.

  Seemed like a nice place, had a good experience otherwise, but Dr. Conley was inattentive, provided a generic/unpersonalized report, and got key details incorrect, despite taking three months to write the report.

  I never thought a neuropsychology evaluation could be so effortless! The whole process was smooth, and scheduling a doctor's appointment has never been easier! Every single person I came in contact with at this practice was an absolute delight. I saw Dr. Byrne for my neuropsychology evaluation, and she was an absolute joy to work with! She was so thoughtful and considerate of not only my concerns but also my time. Not to mention- incredibly accurate with her observations! I could not recommend Newton Neuropsychology and Dr. Byrne more if I tried! If you are on the fence- trust me, this is your sign to schedule an appointment now!
