The “in person only” cancellation policy is the worst. I moved recently and will use other gyms closer to me. But it’s not my fault that I can’t take time out of my busy schedule to go cancel in person. It’s a low way of grifting money imo

$50 to cancel a $25 membership is an absolute joke. This gym is dirty and crowded all hours of the day. EDIT: After posting this review, the owner sent me a condescending message while also trying to get me to take this post down. Super unprofessional.

Excellent and best choice for workout at a gym in Medford. I have been a member at Flash Fitness for over 3 and a half years and have nothing but a great workout experience every time I go there.

Super clean, very friendly staff, lots of equipment. I highly recommend it! Small complaint: they make it unusually difficult to cancel (must cancel in person, cannot cancel over the phone or online, and must provide unusually long notice period -- 45 days --) but otherwise this is an excellent gym. I get frustrated by subscriptions that are hard to cancel, so that's why Im giving 4 and not 5 stars 😅

I have been a member of Flash Fitness for over a year. It is hands down the cleanest gym I’ve ever been a part of. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, no matter what time of the day I go. The new equipment is great and the tutorials that are posted on their Instagram account help navigate them and make them less intimidating. I had done some personal training when I signed up, last year, to help me with my fitness journey. Due to time constraints in my personal life, I had to stop it after 3 months. I have been thinking about getting back into it, but the trainer I had left for a new venture. I made an appointment with the new fitness manager, Ben, to discuss possibly getting back into it again. Ben patiently listened to all the questions and the concerns I had as a post menopausal woman, with, again, limited time to work out. He was completely thoughtful in all his responses. I felt listened to and I never felt pressure to sign up. Ben let me sit with the information he gave me to decide if I could start up the personal training again, which I greatly appreciated. I hardly ever do reviews, but I feel Flash Fitness deserves to be recognized for their quality and performance as a great gym with so much to offer.
