- KRKristin RinehimerJun 12, 20265.0We've had nothing but positive experiences at Smileland. The hygienists, dentists, and receptionists are kind and great with kids. The space is as fun and inviting as a dental office could be: fun colors, toys for the kids to choose from after the appointment, and TVs on the ceiling to distract nervous little ones. At our latest appointment, one of my kids had a cavity and they were able to fill it the same day. Not a small feat with a kid who was pretty nervous and had never had such a procedure before. Yet she left feeling like a big kid: "I'm gonna tell all my friends getting a cavity filled isn't a big deal!" Thanks, Smileland, for making trips to the dentist fun and low-key!

However, after and appointment with my kid today I was reminded that I do not like this dentist office. In prior appointments they didn’t have good bedside manner. My kid is absolutely afraid of this place. I feel horrible for not listening to her intuition. Whole heartedly plan finding a new dentist. Protect your kids. There are plenty of places that are gentle, explain to the children what’s about to happen and don’t make you sign documents that say something different than occurred.
