Lowell Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with opioid use disorder. Located in Lowell, Massachusetts, our CTC is an outpatient option that helps adults of all genders work toward long-term recovery from opioid addiction. MAT is a time-tested form of treatment that includes a counseling component to help develop lasting recovery strategies as well as prescription medication to ease physical symptoms of withdrawal. At Lowell CTC, patients may participate in group and individual counseling sessions. After a consultation to determine which medication is best suited for each patient, our medical team prescribes either methadone or Suboxone.
