Located on 600 acres, cradled to the east by the Housatonic River and October Mountain State Park, Eastover is a mix of inviting lawns, courtyards, meadows, gardens, forests, woodland trails, and panoramic views. Mission, Vision, & Sustainability Eastover is unaffiliated with any specific spiritual tradition, and its eclectic, open-hearted receptivity aims to support the continuing emergence of holistic and ecological ideas capable of renewing our culture and leading the way to a sustainable planet. Eastover is a sanctuary. We see ourselves as stewards of this 600 acre parcel of land. Eastover borders natural resources classified by the Massachusetts Goverment as Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC), or areas designated as unique due to the quality and significance of their “natural and cultural resources” (mass.gov). In an era where natural resources like water are of prime concern, our mission has been to figure out a sustainable and socially responsible business model to keep the land in its natural state as an oasis for many generations to visit, enjoy and take refuge in. TallyHo: Largest indoor rustic barn in Berkshire county, MA. The enormous, country style Old Stable is the perfect event hall for large events and workshops. Its all country style, with an enormous stone fireplace, high rafters, full theatrical stage and generous dance floor. Big enough for any event, its 4800 sq ft allows seated dining for 350 guests with a total capacity of 475 guests. A complete on site large kitchen can be used for cooking classes or makes fresh food and is ready for fast service. There is also a separate standing bar with its own spacious mingling area. With a character straight out of a Victorian hunting stables, the thick wooden bead-board and antique barn hardware are all authentic reminders of it’s historic bygone era. Even deeper into the Old Stable is a converted night club area with booth seating within deep converted horse stalls. Roomy enough to seat 10 per booth, the night club has its own small performance stage. This provides a remarkable opportunity for you to host a large event while also catering to a quieter more intimate conversation area with its own separate entertainment venue or break out space. For workshop presenters, single session workshops can be created for inviting the local affluent holistic community, further reaching a broad audience. Whether your program calls for tables and chairs or ample room to move about – or both – the Old Stable is perfect for your needs. In addition, just past sliding stable doors is a juice bar and meeting space that can serve as a breakout room as well. For an exclusive wedding, the Old Stable is a destination of genuine and rare character, a great contrast for a formal wedding, large public festival, large yoga venue, large workshops, or a boisterous dance ball.
