What is Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Therapy?
Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Therapy is a training technique for patients who are recovering from an injury or surgery and cannot safely perform heavy resistance training. This technique uses a band or cuff that partially restricts blood flow during exercise. This creates a low-oxygen environment in the muscle that makes it work harder, even when using very light weights or simple exercises.
