  I've been a patient/client at Trinity for several months now. I have many good things to acknowledge. I love the flexibility and the focus on my individualized treatment plan. I like the IOP because I can live my regular day and work and then attend virtual meetings at night to debrief about my day and learn skills that I can put into action the following day. This program is different than others I've attended in the past, the approach seems more realistic for my treatment goals. They know where I'm at, I tell them where I want to be, and with teamwork from the clinicians, admin, facilitators, we develop goals to push me in the right direction. I like the variety of services they offer. I am a working young adult, so it's nice to have the flexibility to attend virtual groups in the evening and the day groups in person when my schedule allows me to do so. They want to provide the maximum support my schedule allows but I also know that if I need more intensive care - like going in person everyday - that option is available. The same goes the other way, as I meet goals and make progress, I intend to decrease my frequency in attending and ease my way out of the program. I don't feel like I'm constricted to a specific time frame (like I have been in other programs I've attended - where there is a set time period like a month maximum of treatment and then you are released). I've learned a lot of skills in my recovery as well as everyday life skills. My communication skills have improved drastically. I am better at communicating my thoughts and feelings to loved ones and people around me. I also love the support from my peers, we are all cheering each other on and want to see each other succeed and the camaraderie is indescribable. I feel so open and willing to share my experiences with a bunch of 'strangers' in group because of the way my peers make me feel so welcomed, and accepted, and heard. I can't emphasize enough all of the great aspects this program has provided me over these past few months. We all have a common goal and are on a wellness journey to improve our mental health and/or substance use. The administrators/owners are very understanding and easy-going and relatable. The vibes feel like all the workers hearts are in the right place.
