I went in today to check out some glasses, as i’ve had a few pair of warby’s before and wanted to check out the new frames they got in. I walked in with a few different crowds, everyone else who walked in with me got a greeting, I did not. It’s important to note I walked in wearing very lazy attire, I just got out of class. I brushed it off because everyone else was dressed well and looked important, sure. I then watched the two workers check in with every single person in the store, some who were standing a messily 2 feet away from me, and not even glance in my direction. Again, I brushed it off, I don’t really need much help anyway! I am still just browsing! Then, the store is completely empty. It’s me and the two sale associates. Guess what! They still didn’t walk up to me! Matter a fact, they started arranging glasses around me and chatting with each other (which is fine but like hello?). I actually needed help at this point, I really like extra wide frames and couldn’t fine many, but I felt so ignored and uncomfortable that I didn’t even bother asking. I ended up deciding to leave because I felt so unwelcome. Now again, this may seem not that big of a deal, but as someone who loves Warby Parker glasses, I was disappointed that I completely ignored by the staff. With what said, my prior experiences were lovely and the workers always checked in. Maybe it was an off day? Whatever the case is, I will NOT be returning. Legacy place, here I come!
