Chris and Lee were very accommodating and made certain to answer all of my questions. As a business order, staff that provides a level service is something that I appreciate. Thank you.

I walked into LensCrafters and was completely dismissed by an associate named Matt. Instead of helping me, a paying customer who was standing right there, he chose to prioritize a personal conversation with someone else in line behind me, as if I was invisible. I waited and waited, and not once did he acknowledge me, offer assistance, or even make eye contact.
This is absolutely unacceptable. I came in ready to spend my money and was treated like I didn't exist. Matt showed zero professionalism and zero interest in doing his job. If this is the standard of service LensCrafters is okay with, I'll be taking my business and my fat wad of cash somewhere that actually values customers.
Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

I had a terrible experience at this location. I started out being helped by a very nice older lady, but she unfortunately had to leave and handed me over to Matt.
Instead of acknowledging me or picking up where she left off, Matt completely ignored my presence. He stayed glued to his laptop, chose to attend to a female customer who came in after me, and then had the audacity to tell me he was closing up shop as soon as he was done with her.
Utterly unprofessional, disrespectful, and a complete waste of my time. I will not be returning to this location.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at the LensCrafters in Auburn, MA, and unfortunately an employee named Matt made it far worse. From the moment I walked in, the service felt dismissive, rushed, and completely unprofessional. Questions were met with attitude instead of help, and it genuinely felt like customer service was the last thing anyone cared about.
Matt in particular came across as impatient, uninterested, and completely lacking professionalism. On top of the poor service, he was also behaving inappropriately by openly flirting with a married woman directly in front of her daughter, which made the entire environment feel uncomfortable and awkward for everyone nearby. It was honestly shocking behavior for someone representing a business that’s supposed to provide professional customer care.
Instead of helping resolve issues, he made the entire experience frustrating and uncomfortable from start to finish. I’ve honestly had better service at a crowded DMV waiting room than I did here.
Buying glasses is already expensive enough without feeling disrespected while doing it. This experience completely ruined my confidence in LensCrafters as a company, and because of how poorly this was handled, I won’t be returning to this location or likely to LensCrafters at all.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
