Willis Knighton South opened in southwest Shreveport in 1982 as South Park Hospital, the first satellite hospital in the state. It provides critical, emergency and general medical care with a focus on women’s services at the adjacent Center for Women’s, which is focused on care for women and children, offering a wide array of specialized services in a convenient suburban setting. Among these are Willis-Knighton’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Housing for out-of-town parents is also available here. This campus also offers WK South Wellness Center, WK Quick Care and Quick Care Kids as well as physician office buildings.
