  I had a very frustrating experience at the LensCrafters location in Lakeside Mall food court that required six visits and ultimately ended with a refund and no usable glasses. On my first visit, I was told the frames were Prada and assured they would fit well, but they were clearly too large after pickup. I also discovered a cracked lens, which was initially dismissed before being acknowledged. I was offered an exchange and selected another pair, but later learned they were Miu Miu rather than Prada, which added to my concerns about accuracy and communication. My request for a receipt confirming a ~$700-$800 purchase was also dismissed. The second pair fit better after adjustment, but developed discomfort behind my ear. When I returned for a minor adjustment, different staff made changes that significantly worsened the fit, leaving the glasses unusable. I was then told to return the next day for the lab manager, but he was not there when I came back. At that point, I requested a return. I was visibly upset from the repeated issues, and an associate responded with a sarcastic comment about my reaction, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I was initially told I was outside the return window, but after escalation, I received a full refund. I also contacted customer service beforehand and was redirected between locations, but never received a follow-up call. Overall, this experience involved significant time, multiple errors, and no functional outcome despite a straightforward need for properly fitted glasses. I expected more consistency, accuracy, and professionalism given that glasses are a medical necessity. I would recommend considering Warby Parker nearby, which offers a more affordable and straightforward experience. Response: As I mentioned above, I have already reported my experience to the customer service website. I received a call from the manager of the macys LensCrafters (this was the only option to select from) and she said I would be receiving a call from the food court LensCrafters manager. I never received a follow up call.

  Thanks Mel at LensCrafters for the amazing customer service! She was super patient, knowledgeable, and made sure I was taken care of from start to finish. She helped me pick out frames that fit me perfectly and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. It’s hard to find great customer service these days, and Mel definitely went above and beyond. Highly recommend asking for her if you stop by!

  The experience at lense crafters at macys at the lakeside mall location , excellent customer service ,attention to detail , very patient , considering I didn’t have insurance , went through every step of the way with such care , very happy with my purchase of my Prada red glasses , looking forward to complete them with my other 2 frames l be coming back for , thank you so much again ladies , Thank you Casey !!!!

  So I came into LensCrafters in lakeside Mall today with the focus of finding some glasses that were very important to me. My aunt gave me the Wayfarer RB2140 54mm Classic I said shut down for my college graduation. They were perfect and I love them and they truly fit my face unlike many sunglasses that I tried on. Unfortunately, when visiting with some friends at a social event I placed them down on a counter and someone took them. I was greeted by Mel upon entering into the store with high energy, attention, and a focus to help. I shared with her what I was looking for and she helped me search extensively and unfortunately we would not able to find anything even though she did as much as she could in the moment because the glasses have now evolved to another version. She directed me to try Sunglasses Hut potentially and I did and I was referred back to LensCrafters to check the system to see if it was in the system to get the exact pair I was looking for because the ones I tried on did not exactly look like my version. Upon going back to LensCrafters Brittiney continued to assist me and we jumped on the tablet & searched for the original pair and found them in order through LensCrafters websites where I was able to enact my AAA discount. Brandon was very helpful and assisted in answering any questions and giving feedback in addition to supporting the efforts of both Mel & Brittiney. Francis & Dee were just as helpful as well when I asked them questions about other pairs of glasses in addition to pricing and potential fit. This entire staff is phenomenal. They all have great energy, very personable, educated on the different lens on display, intentional about helping, and want to work with you on pricing and find what is best for your budget. The sincerity and genuine nature is becoming a lost art in today's world and this location should be thankful for this staff. Usually when reviews like this happened upper management just acknowledges and praises them in a meeting and moves on, but what is fitting because of them being able to help me find something that was very near and dear to my heart from a family member and replace something that was important to me ......needs to be reciprocated to them in a financial fashion. With the current times that we are in right now, each one of them should receive an additional bonus for not only the professionalism, but their intent to help make my day better coupled with 1st class customer service. Each one of them deserves some form of bonus or financial contribution simply because of this review in my eyes because they all deserve it.

  Worked with Kim to order some Prada frames and lenses. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, and truly was a breath of fresh air considering my previous experiences at Americas Best. I was somewhat skeptical at first because the actual store is tucked away in the back of Macy’s, however they had a full selection and even offered eye exams. She was able to apply my insurance and the overall process was seamless. Kim truly made my day. Will be using them for all future eye care.
