Mind you, I hadn’t chosen anything yet, I had just come in. I politely declined to give it to her so she demanded my phone number. Again I politely declined and she demanded my name. When I declined again she kept haranguing me about why I should give her this info. She wouldn’t let up! Finally I said, “Could you not?” Then she started muttering about how it’s going to be one of those days. Unfortunately, I found a pair of sunglasses that I wanted, and the whole thing started again. I just wanted to buy them, as they were, no complications. Finally they agreed, but wouldn’t give me a receipt! Who do these people think they are, demanding personal information the minute you walk in refusing to take no for an answer? Such a needlessly unpleasant experience!
