  "Getting an MRI could be a scary experience".....but not if you go to Metairie Imaging! The staff at Metairie Imaging were very nice and comforting. Laurie could not have been nicer and she explained every step of the process. They offer goggles and headphones so you can watch tv/movie rather than be concerned about feeling claustrophobic. I highly recommend Metairie Imaging!

  Edited to add: I received a digital copy of all my images, for no extra cost, after I completed the tests. My technologist, Lori, was professional and polite. Walked me through the whole process - which was pretty intimidating considering the small space within the machine. I was told it was going to be MONTHS before I would be able to get any imaging done through Ochsner. Not only are they (Metairie Imaging) more affordable (by a lot), they happened to have a last minute cancelation so I got seen same day!! The front desk told me their normal wait time is usually only 10-14 days. Overall I had a wonderful experience here and they made a difficult day a little less so. And what more can you ask for from a professional service. 5/5 would recommend again.

  Extremely caring staff, nice atmosphere, very clean and well organized. I was also given the option of listening to music through a pair of headphones during the procedure which made the MRI experience more relaxing. I would definitely use them again, and refer them to friends and family.
