  I love my PCP Torrey Dickens at Comprehensive Medical Clinic on McNeese Street and she’s accepting new patients so I thought I’d give a quick shout out for anyone looking for a primary care doc. The owner of the clinic is great too. They weren’t accepting the new insurance I got through work last year, but I asked them to contract with them and they did so I didn’t have to change doctors.

  Doctor Strauss (i dont know if i'm spelling her name right) is great. She listens, but isn't afraid to call you out when doing things that are bad for your health. The honesty and care is appreciated. The other staff are friendly as well. Good place to have for primary care.

  Went to the office spoke to receptionist Ashley asked Charlotte Ardoin NP would give steroid injections because I was burning from my shoulders to my feet so she shuck her head NO I asked about cortisone injections she again shuck her head NO so at that point I was done with their office because previously I called and left messages and I also went to the office and left messages never got a call back or a response and Ashley would tell me she hasn’t looked at you messages yet….so that didn’t work for me. So I decided to get a new Dr. which was Dr Adeosun (when I went to my appointment with him he called Charlottes Ardoin Offices I could hear because it was on speaker at first) so I do have Peripheral Neuropathy Fibromyalgia Torn the Tendon in my Left Shoulder had 2 surgeries Sciatic Pain and a host of other painful issues (ask for pain management referral) anyway after having a terrible appointment with Dr Adeosun I go to my next appointments with Charlotte Ardoin and she ask me very excitedly if Dr Adeosun gave me the pills I wanted and I told her I knew that’s what you believe and you told him I’m drug seeking and that’s not the reason I was leaving your office it’s because I leave messages and get no return call I talk to your nurse she can’t open her mouth she just shakes her head how professional is that then she says she not a nurse then I said no wonder!!!! I’m currently looking for another Dr. I don’t think they like people my color so she can take her mantra and affirmations and put them where the sun don’t shine. Who doesn’t call their patients back and then she told me that she doesn’t call patients back she don’t have time.
