I was having issues with my insurance provider which were resolved a few days after my exam. I asked eyewear express if my insurance was in network and they told me it was. At the office I was printed an itemized receipt to provide my insurance for reimbursement. However, my insurance provider was not in network and I paid out of pocket for an exam and some glasses. Overall, this hurt more than just my wallet. This experience also hurt my trust in this business, whether it was an honest mistake or complacency.
