  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I booked my Pilates class a month in advance specifically to celebrate my birthday, and I reasonably expected that providing this much notice would allow sufficient time to secure an instructor. Instead, I was contacted only two days before my birthday and informed that no instructor was available. By that point, it was extremely difficult to make alternative arrangements, particularly because I had been planning this celebration for weeks. What makes this especially disappointing is that I booked so far in advance and received no indication that there was an issue until immediately before my birthday. I was genuinely looking forward to celebrating there, and the lack of communication and planning ultimately disrupted those plans. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but notifying a customer just two days before an event booked a month in advance is unacceptable. I expected significantly better communication, planning, and professionalism.

  I attended the free introductory class to see if Club Pilates would be a good fit for me. The class provided a helpful overview of the different exercises and equipment used, which I appreciated. That said, I realized this style of workout and instruction isn't the right fit for my personal preferences. I prefer a more straightforward, business-focused teaching style, whereas the instructor was very energetic and extroverted. I also would have appreciated more hands-on guidance, especially since most of the class consisted of first-time participants. One of the biggest challenges was hearing the instructor. The music was played quite loudly while instructions were being given, making it difficult to understand what we were supposed to do. I noticed several people looking around at others for cues, which reinforced that I wasn't the only one having trouble following along. I believe instructors would benefit from using a microphone or PA system so directions can be heard more clearly. Additionally, the instructor spoke very quickly and frequently used Pilates terminology that many beginners were unfamiliar with. Since it was confirmed that the majority of the class was new to Pilates, slowing down the pace and providing simpler explanations would have made the experience much more accessible. The studio itself was also smaller than I expected. Overall, while I can see Club Pilates being a great option for those looking to supplement an existing fitness routine, it wasn't the right fit for me. I'll likely explore private one-on-one instruction or consider purchasing a reformer for home use instead.

  It was impossible to book a class if you didn’t have the unlimited pass. The classes were booked days in advance. I’d reached out to let them know of the trouble I was having with availability and was instructed to check back an hour or two before the class started. She told me people often cancel at the last minute or pull a “no show” needless to say I was never able to book my desired class time, EVER. After my 3 month commitment was up, I canceled my membership. A complete waste of money.
