Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

I’ve never had a problem with this pharmacy. They are experiencing the staff shortages that are part of all of health care with an aging population and not enough younger folks to replace the retiring workforce. They are professional, helpful despite a really high volume of prescriptions and customers. They’ve always helped us get through insurance coverage challenges and got our medications to us accurately and efficiently.

I had a very disappointing experience with this Kroger Pharmacy. Their customer service has been consistently poor, and the drive-thru seems to be closed far too often, making it very inconvenient.
Today I picked up my Mounjaro injection. I live directly across the street, so I was home within just a few minutes. When I opened the package, I discovered the medication was completely warm. Mounjaro is a refrigerated medication and should be kept cold. There was no cold pack, no insulation, and the medication itself was not cold at all. That is very concerning for a medication that requires refrigeration.
I trusted the pharmacy to store and dispense my prescription properly, and this experience has made me question their handling of refrigerated medications.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this pharmacy. I would encourage anyone who depends on temperature-sensitive medications to be very careful and to check their medication before leaving the pharmacy.

Anyone that believes customers doing business in affluent areas of a city get special treatment need only do business with the Timber Ridge Kroger pharmacy to be thoroughly disabused of that notion.

This particular Kroger pharmacy staff is just awful. Every month I encountered problems to receive medication, especially controlled substances, even with a clearly written prescription. The level of service is appalling. I waited countless hours in line only to find out that they can’t fill a prescription due to absence of medication, or them to unable to process it. Take your prescription literally anywhere else. I did.
