Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

I’ve never had worse experiences at a pharmacy in my life. Poor communication, ridiculously long wait times and medication mishandling were abundant. I’ll be giving my business to a different pharmacy.

My child got their wisdom teeth removed on a Monday morning. The dentist sent in the prescription at 9am that day. The prescription wasn't filled until that Thursday at 5pm. Seriously, almost 4 days later. Luckily she is a trooper and made it through with regular Ibuprofen. Doctor's don't send in prescriptions after a procedure for no reason. This pharmacy is a joke. You cannot call it. If you show up you will be in line longer than necessary. I quit shopping at that store there a while back.

This pharmacy has consistently been horrible. Multiple times we have had our doctor send medication over just for the pharmacy to tell us it will be ready the next day and we spend a week going back and forth getting told every time it’s the next day. If you challenge them on it they start making up other excuses like “ your insurance told us not to give it to you until tomorrow” we called our insurance and they said they never sent anything like that to the pharmacy. Our daughters prescription was sent to them yesterday and again more problems first they claimed they couldn’t find the prescription yet again (this is a common thing you will hear if you go here) after telling them 3 times they do have it they somehow magically found it. They then tell us our daughters insurance doesn’t pay for the prescription, for one we never even gave them her insurance card she was born last week so they don’t even have one on file for her yet. Secondly Upon calling my insurance again they again claimed they do cover it and Kroger gave us wrong info again. The people at this pharmacy are either lazy or incompetent and should not be working somewhere where they have to give medication out to people. We will not only be changing our pharmacy but after having numerous horrible experiences with Kroger we are done shopping there as well we will take our business to cvs, and Walmart before we ever step back into a Kroger absolutely horrible experience all around!
