  The doctor was very kind but immediately ordered skin testing which I’d had done previously at another provider and which was expensive. The results didn’t help with identifying the cause of my chronic hives. He didn’t consider even attempting to look for a root cause- while I understand it can be difficult, there are a handful of causes that traditional doctors can test for which should be addressed before giving up and ordering a biologic. He was only interested in having me come every six weeks to see if I was ready to give up and take the biologic yet, so I finally gave up on him. He might be helpful with other allergy issues, but for chronic hives he was only interested in ordering expensive skin tests which were unhelpful (even after I explained that I’d had them before) and immediately prescribing strong meds to simply mask symptoms. If you are interested in any attempt to consider root causes, this is not the doctor for you.

  My first visit in Mt Vernon clinic I felt heard and Dr Livas seem concerned. My 2nd visit in Mt Vernon clinic I Waited an hour and a half for them to come in. Sat in the waiting room for 40 min and then sat in my room for another 20 min, only for the nurse practitioner Rose Peirson to come in and ask me questions that she should have read before coming in room and was too busy correcting me when i stated he wanted me to receive pneumonia shot she said you mean pneumonia vaccine. Was not personable at all never apologized for the wait nor did she even seem to care enough to look through my chart before coming in the room. I had appt scheduled with Dr Livas so I'm not sure why the nurse practitioner was sent into my room, I then stated I thought my appt was with Dr Livas she said I will send him in, when he did come in he states my condition he doesn't really know and asks if I did my labs from previous visit and even after multiple times of me stating yes I did my labs they still couldn't find them and really blew me off but still wanted me to come back in 2 months after he had already stated this wasn't really anything he could help with. But insisted I recieve pneumoccal vaccine and retest to ensure my antibodies was there even though I was there for enlarged lymph nodes. I felt as if I was an inconvenience for being there with something they had requested me to come back in a month after my last visit. So in total I was there 2 hours and left feeling there was no attempt to even try to figure out what was wrong even if it was not his specialty but I was so flustered by the end of visit that I didn't even ask questions due to feeling like I was an inconvenience. Staff was not friendly never once apologized for the long wait times or even seem to care when I did mention how long the wait was. I will not be back.

  Dr. Livas has been amazing! Hes personable, fast and thorough! Ive been seeing him for years so I knew exactly who I wanted my 13 year old to see when he began having issues with his allergies!

  The doctors the Physicians everybody here is amazing. Love this place made my daughters and myself feel so comfortable.
