Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

So my experience with this pharmacy. They do not care about their patients. Went to here for almost 2yrs and my insurance will only let me use 1 pharmacy they knew this. Up to the day I quit going they never stocked these 2 meds I was going 30 sometimes 31 days on 28 day supplies. Also when dealing with someone you cannot tell the sex they are can be frustrating I'm a yes mam or yes sir type of guy makes it hard to communicate. Idk how much money I wasted in gas over them not having all meds and was told once by a pharmacist no matter if I came into the store at 10.am.and stared at them it would not be done until 1pm. Very rude and snobby I could hear Amy the younger female pharmacist is what I think her name is, talking about people with a lady a little older with black hair just bickering drama. You'd think after 2 years of the same pharmacy they would start to stock your monthly meds not let you run out then order them. They knew I was out of a very important med but they would not do any type of partial fills after a different person said it was ok! Very disappointed in the way Kroger pharmacy has went down hill had high hopes at first. Oh that's not the worst part they actually called my Dr and said they had a suspicion I was selling my medication if my Dr didn't know me and test me Everytime it possibly could have caused issues. STAY AWAY FROM THIS KROGER PHARMACY! They expect respect but don't give it. They act like they're better than everyone as well. Towards the end they made it to were I couldn't use the app. I'm on over a dozen meds you can call but it's hard getting anyone to answer. So they made it to were I couldn't even get in the app because they'd schedule my order for something crazy like 4:30 pm even though it was fillable 3 days prior.
