- RBRoxanne BoydJul 3, 20261.0I went in for a consultation on a tooth that was chipped during a seizure, as this was the only local dentist I could find who accepts Wellcare Medicaid. After driving an hour, I was openly berated by the hygienist for not having regular cleanings. I tried to explain my medical situation, but it went in one ear and out the other. Later, I received a text from their office asking me to call and reschedule an appointment because the dentist would be out. When I called to do so, the receptionist rudely told me, "The dental office is closed on Friday; call back on Monday." It would have been helpful to include their hours in the text message they initiated. When I called back on Monday, I chose to cancel all future appointments. Unprofessional staff and zero empathy for patients.

I especially want to give a shout-out to Mrs. Marsy, the hygienist who took care of me. She took the time to answer all of my questions and explained everything thoroughly without ever making me feel rushed. Her knowledge and ability to explain things clearly and naturally really impressed me. Even the actual dentist had great communication and manners. I felt genuinely cared for as a patient. I highly recommend this office!
