My wife had all of her teeth pulled on top because of a bad accident and was suffering from pain of infection. She visited tonight. Dr came in and laid his phone down and told her that AI was going to record her and her symptoms and diagnose her. She asked him “well why are you even here?” She even asked him if he wanted to look in her mouth and he said no. She was seeking antibiotics and pain medication from having all her teeth being pulled and he said he couldn’t give her pain medication because of pain med seekers out there. She was like “yea I’m seeking pain meds because I’m in pain”. This place is and always was a joke. I’m telling everyone I know everyday that I can to go to another hospital.

I was here to get help on a day they was not busy and doctors and nurses just standing around talking and having conversations while typing. Waited for an hour and half to be seen and wasn’t so I left. No excuses for this kind of treatment at all. No one was busy if they are talking about their own personal lives and just aimlessly goofing off.

I am editing my review on 6/24/26 as I spoke to the billing departments of TRH. Huge level of respect for these people, they understand how insane the cost of medical care is and they will do everything in their power to help you. They acknowledge the system is broken and they do what they can to help you navigate the waters and will explain the 'what' and 'why' whenever you need them to.

I had a total knee replacement done on Feb 2, I got amazing care at the hospital! All the doctors and staff was extremely helpful, gentle and caring! So glad I chose Taylor County! Before surgery I had an ER visit to have my knee drained. I was in extreme pain and swelling. They did X-rays and gave me pain meds, drained my knee. My friend who took me they actually went and got her lunch! I’ll definitely choose Taylor Co for all my needs!!! Theresa

My husband went in to the E.R. with a swollen lymph node they tried saying was an ingrown hair. They gave him a " steroid and antibiotic". His symptoms are still occuring and his discharge paperwork doesn't disclose any medications administered to him which is standard procedure for ANY medical office worth their weight. Very unprofessional. They acted like a revolving door facility, took less than 30 minutes to be rushed in given "medications" that were not disclosed in any form to him written or verbally. DO NOT WASTE TIME GOING HERE. Husband feels he could of received better treatment, care and disclosure from an animal clinic.
