The entire interaction felt forced - like Andrew had memorized a script (i.e. "What does X mean? Well, I'm glad you asked!", when I wasn't given a chance to ask a question myself. I informed Andrew at the beginning of our conversation that I am in between jobs at the moment, wanted an opinion, and that my ankles visibly tilt inward when standing/walking. When doing a test walk with all three supports, my ankles/feet were still visibly tilting inward - which I mentioned to Andrew; I expressed disappointment that the arch supports weren't fully supporting the inward tilt. Toward the end of the conversation, Andrew was extremely insistent that I would benefit from the supports, and I would "only pay" ~$2,000 with a lifetime warranty. I asked for a few days to think about it, and Andrew said, "When people tell me that, I usually don't see them again. But, I guess what I've done for you today wasn't enough, and when you didn't recognize the benefits of the supports during your test walk, I knew you wouldn't want to move forward. Well, you've come in today, and you got educated about arch supports", it's been a few days, so this isn't verbatim, but the point still stands. The immediate switch from Sales Representative to a guilt trip was very off-putting. I reminded Andrew that I was in between jobs and needed to discuss a large purchase with my spouse, but that didn't change the tone of the conversation. Overall, the technology utilized at this location is very beneficial and has the potential to help a lot of people. However, I was unimpressed with being treated like another sale, instead of a person interested in receiving assistance. Regardless, I did not notice adequate support for the inward tilt, and I was not going to invest a large amount of money in something that would not help me. I assumed that Andrew would be more understanding of my concerns.
