  October 28th, and October 31st of 2025 i had extensive knee surgery on my right knee, October 31st 2026 I walked into this store in immense pain in my knee, foot and ankle (same foot as the broken knee have been dealing with pain from an injury sustained as a child) and Mindy was so nice and excited to get started with me that I didn't really have time to ask any questions and to be honest being thrown right into everything was a bit overwhelming at first and I was extremely skeptical, years of pain and reconstructive or corrective surgeries couldn't fully fix the issues, a few peices of hard plastic can? When I tell you I've never been so wrong in my life about something I'm serious. Within 2 minutes of getting the inserts in the shoes and doing a few walk tests and all of my pain and everything I had been dealing with lately. Not just in my ankle and feet or knees, but my hips, lower back and shoulders! I felt my posture straighten! My foot (which has naturally rested at a 45-50ish⁰ angle and walking on the inside of the foot) straightened almost instantly no longer walking on the inside of the foot. Shoulder hip and lower back pain went away, I even broke out into a fill sprint from the back to front of the store! And that's really saying something as I haven't felt comfortable nor stable enough in my own body to actually sprint since my leg break in 2023. This place is genuinely a life saver and you best believe I'm telling anyone who will listen! This store and it's team has given me back the confidence I've been missing for nearly 17 years in a matter of 20 minutes! And I genuinely can't thank them enough 🙏

  My husband has been a good feet customer for a while, they’ve helped his back tremendously, every time he or I stop into Bowling Green we love seeing Hannah. She’s always so kind and so helpful! Good feet saved my husband, so grateful! Keep up the great work!

  Stopped in to ask about getting my stepson fitted for insoles and whether we needed an appointment. The guy initially assumed I was there to work on the building since I had on work clothes, which I completely understood. But even after I explained why I was there, he still acted like I wasn’t supposed to be in the store and said we could step outside so he could answer my questions. There was literally nobody else in the store, so it wasn’t like I was interrupting anyone’s appointment. He then immediately started telling me about other places I could try instead of explaining their process. I was actually prepared to make an appointment if needed, but he made it pretty clear he didn’t want my business. I’m not sure if he works on commission, but he’s a terrible salesman.

  Mindy Hockenbury(certified fitter) was very informative and helpful and patient with us ,especially with my special needs adult son who was there getting fitted for shoes and arch supports. Walked us through the whole process very professionally. We would Highly recommend the Good Feet Store. It was a breath of fresh air to get such good customer service.

  Let me tell you about my experience with Mindy. I had booked an appointment last week only to cancel it to try some $30 shoe inserts that had no effect on my feet. I wound up booking again so I could explain my situation with my body and feet as as well as as get any education I can so I could then take that information and look for something cheaper online. Let me tell you, Mindy sold me on the whole experience. Not that it does mean good to share my business, but I was sick this winter and I had to relearn how to walk and with that some things have come up with my feet and ankles. I’ve been back at work for three weeks and it has been hard on me. Mindy was as thorough as they come. I really see through a lot of sales people like oh this is part of the gimmick. They are being relatable and seeming like a regular human being while they are hoping to have you sell your soul to the devil for $2300 inserts, but that is not the case here. Mindy was really straightforward and telling me what would probably not work for me and what would work for me. Also leaving that window open for different arch support once I progressed to a new pair if the pain returns really kept me there and interested as well. I really didn’t come today to spend any money because we simply don’t have it. Just getting back to work and earning a paycheck is nice, but there is no way we were putting down the money necessary to purchase these today as I said, this was mainly about gaining the education about my feet and alignment. I have a inner collapsed right ankle and I believe it’s causing me a lot of my issue along with my shoes. You have to wear composite toe or steel toe shoes at my job and if you know anything about that, then you know they are not the most comfortable. Mindy encouraged me to apply for the financing and normally I shut conversation like that down, but since there’s no impact to my credit, I said why not? I ain’t even gonna lie to you. I was not approved while I was sick, our finances took a hit, which means my credit did. The finances we did have coming in paid our essential bills and that’s it. That being said, with what we expected, we were gonna be leaving empty-handed which would’ve been fine because I was there for the education anyway. Do you know what Mindy did? She calls her boss and gets directive on what she can do for me and I don’t give a damn if she has done this with every customer before me, but it made me feel special like the company and Mindy value me and my needs. We both know I need these inserts because of my feet and ankle and lower back pain so she made sure that I was able to leave with the strengthening inserts and the relaxer inserts. I have had two hip replacements and my left leg is a little bit shorter than my right so the only thing I paid for today was these heel pads for my left foot which had me walking straighter than I ever have. I do need to return for the main inserts which are $500 but it is going to be like a Christmas present to myself because you need to take care of your feet. It is incredibly easy to ignorantly scoff and be like why would I need that? What am I 70 years old? Life can happen to anyone like it did me this past February. That’s the thing about chewing gum, though, once you throw it away, you don’t ever think about it again. Mindy is not chewing gum. I’m actually looking forward to her follow up calls to see how the inserts are doing. I can’t wait until I’m able to return to the store to get the main inserts, but Mindy definitely got me on my initial path to resetting my right ankle so I’m properly aligned and the strengthening inserts to help my feet stronger which is just gonna travel up my body in terms of relief. I also tried on the Brooks shoes and I joked with Mindy about how a lot of people just buy things because other people buy them but I really understood once I had those shoes on why so many had bought them. They are really comfortable. I would like to get a pair of those too. The inserts have to come first though. Also, Mindy is a salesperson. 🥴
