  The caretaker I have is a hard worker and a self starter. She is great with my wife who had a stroke a few years ago and also kind to our rescue dog. She has become like part of our family though she always remains a complete professional. I just had my yearly visit with the office coordinator, and she was kind and a complete professional too, that answered all my questions. I would highly recommend HomeInstead. If you are a veteran, like myself, please consider Homeinstead for your care. They have worked out my schedule that best meets my needs. I have had the same caretaker for 3 years and been with them for 5 years.

  Their employees continuously call out, never show up and steal senior citizens money. Had to ask multiple times to get a new person to come out and they send someone who knows absolutely nothing. My grandmother heartbroken seeing how my grand father has been continuously treated. They stole on two occasions over 500$ twice out of my mother and grandmothers purse. Unbelievable. Do not use this company!

  My parents both became sick with dementia about the same time a year after I had had brain surgery. Before my surgery I was blessed to work for this wonderful company and knew they did their very best to match the right caregivers to the right families so when their care became too much for those members of my family who had been trying to care for them and they left it left me with no choice but to take over their care with the help of my brother and sister in law who live out of state. We were trying to keep the budget down and use private caregivers where we could but they were not trained on the special needs of dementia patients and I was always having to be there with them. After weeks of being at the house 90% of the time we decided to hire Home instead. The extra cost is definitely worth the piece of mind they brought. Caring for 2 dementia patients at one time is no easy task. I was as nervous about leaving them with people I did not know as anyone else would be but after a few days of staying near by I soon felt safe to go to my own home and tend to my needs for the first time in weeks. We had one private duty person who was awesome and home instead knew she was in charge when I was not there so they called her first if there was a problem and then me, giving me a true break each day. We were able to take my parents outside in wheelchairs with their help and would take them for walks any day we could. All of this was a great help. Everyone did their jobs well but Lisa Davidson always went above and beyond. Thank you all for being there through the toughest time of my life.
