Service is stellar!! Jesse was great - fast and friendly service. I deducted one star due to lack of transparency on the website for cost.

The store ambience wasn't the most inviting. It didn't take terribly long to be greeted/acknowledged which was credited to no other customers being in the store. I let the salesman, Jessie know that I was looking for a custom insole specific to my feet that would support areas of my feet that gave me grief. I shared details of my feet ailment and he walked me to the area where I'd stand and have my foot imprints done. After this, Jessie brings out three insoles and explained their purpose in a way that seemed like he had memorized it word for word. Off putting for sure but, I don't know their quality standards or requirements. I asked questions about shoe styles that would support my needs, brand preference, thicker cushioning that would be more comfortable, etc. Jessie disregarded my concerns and went into his spill about the three insoles he brought out that were clearly not custom made for my feet and how he couldn't recommend anything else. This wasn't the kicker as I was still interested in purchasing something. Jessie became visibly annoyed at my questions and forceful with what he wanted me to buy from him. A minimum of $2100 for insoles that aren't designed specifically for my individual feet seemed excessive. When I let him know I wasn't interested in purchasing that day because he had given me a lot to consider (mainly negative things about his attitude and service) he became extremely pushy. Jessie tried to scare me into buying the insoles he brought out that weren't what I asked for, by telling me things like, you need to get these right now, your feet are only going to get worse, there's no shoe that will support your foot needs other than the insoles, surgery isn't even going to correct things (I didn't ask about surgery), if I didn't get them that I'd be walking on bones, and a few other things. At that point I told him I wanted to wait and do some more research to which he responded by asking me what I needed to research and think about when he's already provided me with a resolution. I told him I didn't want to buy that day and I needed more time to review the information provided. He kept at it and finally my spouse had to intervene and say we aren't interested. He demeanor turned cold and he was visibly irritated. It felt like I wasted his time. The handful of people I initially recommended to this location on E. Kellogg I made them aware to inquire and shop at their own risk and I could no longer recommend The Good Feet Store. Fleet Feet on the east side was recommended to me by my sister-in-law and she said I should have mentioned my need to her because she would have told me not to waste my time at The Good Feet Store. I went to Fleet Foot and got everything I needed. The imprint done there was 3-D and showed a lot of detail. Maya, sat down and explained every screen and area of my foot that needed extra support. She was knowledgeable, thorough, not pushy, and not threatening. She actually listened. The kicker is, the scans showed that my feet weren't nearly as bad as I was leading to believe. She showed me two shoes at first and explained to me in detail why she recommended them and how they would help. Based on my feedback on the second pair, she adjusted and brought a third pair. I ended up purchasing the first pair she showed me. Value was added to the product and business based on the superior sales tactics and human experience. This is why l will only recommend Fleet Feet.

Frequently Asked Questions About The Good Feet Store

How are our arch supports different from inserts and insoles I can buy online or in drug stores?

Good Feet Arch Supports are designed to provide the firm, yet flexible function necessary to help correct poor foot biomechanics, providing long term pain-relief solutions.

I buy good shoes, but my feet still hurt. Can arch supports help me?

Absolutely. It’s common for people to think that their shoes are the problem, when in reality it’s often the foot that’s going into the shoes that’s the real source of discomfort. By stabilizing the foot with a good arch support, the pain and discomfort caused by common foot and foot-related problems can often be minimized or alleviated.
