  I went in to purchase a protein isolate about 6:30 on 7/13/26. I haven’t shopped at GNC since the Mall location closed down. I picked out the GNC brand Isolate and went to make my purchase. The employee brought up my information and the price came up as $69.99. I told him there was a price tags showing the entire row was supposed to be $54.99 and made sure it had the correct description on the tag. I showed him what I was talking about and he told me the pricing was old and it should be $69.99 but the price tags he showed me had a date of 2025 on it and the $54.99 had a date of 4/2026 on it. The entire shelf was marked like this. He checked online and said the price was still $69.99. I asked him if he could adjust the price because all of his pricing on the shelves was wrong and he said no. I then told him I would just go online and to make my purchase and proceeded to leave the store. As I’m walking out he said ‘ok then, good bye..’ and as I took a few more steps and I heard him say a condescending “bye” so I turned around and walked back in. He immediately knew why I walked back in because he was trying to raise his voice at me that he was just being nice and doing his job while I told him it wasn’t my fault that his store was priced incorrectly and he was angry that I wasn’t buying the product from him. He the told me ‘I dont care if you buy or not’ and I told him that was half his problem because if he did care he would have made a customer happy by taking care of me at that price, removing the price tag after I was gone, and then getting with his manager about getting it priced correctly to avoid confusion in the future. I never once raised my voice or treated him with any type of disrespect, I was just wanting get my protein. I don’t deserve to be treated like this and I doubt I am the first to bring up this issue judging from the dates on the price tags. It’s pretty rare an employee of a business will go out of his way to mistreat someone because of a little bit of a disagreement but GNC has an employee that will do exactly that.. I have done a TON of business in the past with GNC but will never do so again and frankly if I could leave a lower than 1 star rating I would.

  The store manager Jeremy is very unprofessional and an emotionally unstable person; he was being too reactive when I asked him simple questions. He is incompetent when it comes to communication and would not even listen to what I had to say. He even pulled out his phone to record a video LOL. GNC needs to level up their customer service game.
