There was no wait. Staff was courteous and helpful. Dr. McDonald is more than just a Doctor. He feels like a friend. He took his time getting just the right prescription and walked me up to the front to make sure I got all my questions answered and that I was taken care of. That kind of service is rare.

Do you see children and families?
Yes, we provide family-centered eye care and see patients of all ages. From your child's first eye examination to routine vision care for your entire family, our team creates a comfortable and welcoming environment for each visit.
Do you offer glasses, contact lenses, and help with frame selection?
Yes, we carry an extensive selection of eyeglass frames and contact lenses, along with expert assistance to help you choose the ideal vision correction option for your needs. Our knowledgeable team ensures you achieve clear vision while finding a look that suits you perfectly.
What Insurances do you accept?
We accept most major vision insurance plans! Popular plans include Eyemed (Surency), VSP, Spectera, Davis/Superior Vision, and some Medicaid plans. If you’re unsure whether we accept your specific plan, feel free to reach out to us and we’d be happy to verify your coverage for you.
What does dilation do?
Dilation uses specialized eye drops to temporarily enlarge the pupils, allowing the doctor to examine the inside and back of your eyes more thoroughly. This helps evaluate the retina, optic nerve, and other internal structures for signs of eye disease. Dilation may temporarily make it difficult to see clearly up close for approximately 4–6 hours. Distance vision is generally less affected, and many patients are still able to see clearly enough to drive.
What is the difference between a bi-focal and progressive lens?
A bifocal lens has two distinct areas of vision: the top portion is for distance and the bottom portion is for near vision. You may notice a visible line separating the two prescriptions. A progressive lens provides distance, intermediate, and near vision in one lens without a visible line. The prescription gradually changes from the top of the lens to the bottom, providing a more natural transition between different viewing distances.
What is the benefit in sunglasses polarization?
Polarized sunglasses help reduce glare caused by reflected light from surfaces such as roads, water, and glass. This can improve visual comfort, reduce eye strain, and provide clearer, more comfortable vision in bright conditions. Polarized lenses are especially beneficial for driving, outdoor activities, and spending time around water.
What does anti-reflective coating do?
Anti-Reflective Coating offers a 2 time, 2 year scratch warranty on the lenses, and reduces reflections and glare on the surface of your lenses. It can improve vision in low-light conditions, reduce glare from headlights while driving at night, and make your lenses appear less reflective. AR coating is also helpful for reducing eye strain when using digital devices, as Blue Light AR is typically an option.
What age of children do you see?
We can see patients as young as 3 years old.
What does an eye exam cost without insurance?
A full exam starts at $109. (2026)
