- CCCurt Cooper1 day ago1.0I have been with the same employer and the same insurance provider for 16 years. Over this time, I have successfully used my vision benefits for glasses multiple times. This is the first time I have ever been told my insurance completely excludes lenses simply because they are safety lenses. In the past, my insurance always covered the baseline lens cost, and I simply paid the difference out of pocket. Furthermore, I was explicitly quoted a $100 out-of-pocket expense, but I was ultimately charged $280. I need an explanation for this pricing discrepancy and the sudden change in coverage.
